The kit comes with designated upper and lower strips. On average the strips are applied and worn for 30 minutes or as directed by our dentist.
Mai Dentistry also offers custom bleaching trays that are created specifically for patients who want a long-term whitening option. This comes with syringes of bleaching gel to go in the custom trays that you can wear for a period throughout the day or night. You can whiten as often as you’d like or as little as you’d like. You can also take breaks and come back to whitening months later if desired because your custom trays will remain intact as long as the anatomy of your teeth does not change.
Teeth whitening with sensitive teeth?
Proper application is key to avoiding sensitivity, but it is very simple. Our skilled staff will advise you on how to apply the whitening so that you feel comfortable doing it at home by yourself.
